My venues/gigs that support live music
I decided to introduce some pages of venues that support my musicians and I. Residencies, particularly long standing ones become a home for myself and my musicians. It's great to feel valued and part of the venue, working together to build and grow a monthly or weekly residency, committing to the long term goal of using music to enhance their business and we in turn utilise and enjoy our artistic talents. A win win for all which of course includes our very loyal audience to whom we are very grateful to. Their loyalty inspires and energises us when they're in the room cheering us on!!

Pescare Restaurant, Joe Ruberto and I go back about 8 years now.
We perform here every last Friday of each month the classic Jazz tunes from the roaring 20's, 30's, 40’s era and beyond. You can chill out, watch and listen to music for lovers of Swing, Sambas, Bossanovas Cha-Chas...
Fabulous food and they are consistent with service, great prices and the servings are generous.

Bob Venier and I am singing once a month at the Rising Sun Hotel with the Joe Ruberto Trio where there are special guest singers every week and guest Trumpet or Saxophone.
This historic South Melbourne Hotel still has Jazz on Tuesdays with the Down Beat Jazz Big Band a long running residency I'm told for 18 years...incredible!
Big Plus: The owners Peter and Mal are so supportive of live music and the staff are like family...there's a real warmth and atmosphere here.
Bookings are essential. It’s always packed out, so you need to book early.
