Some of Melbourne's best musicians are not as expensive as you would
expect. These are 'real' musicians (no backing tracks) and play the right music at the right
time. From smooth, romantic jazz, to Latin, swing, pop, rock and disco
- the
best music for all ages. You can see them perform live at their
public performances. You can hear and see
them, instead of listening to a studio recorded CD, and discover what
they sound like in a real live situation. |
 Ruby
loves performing at weddings. Like any really first-class performer, her aim
is to create a wonderful experience for her audience and give bride and
groom the wedding party they've dreamed of. We will help you choose the right size band, and tailor the music to your individual requirements and budget. Whether you prefer a small group or a big band. Ruby performs only with 'real' musicians - no backing tracks - and her huge repertoire includes songs as sung by Michael Buble, Abba, Celine Dion, Michael Jackson and Tom Jones. Ruby would do song requests and can help you choose the right songs for the appropriate time during the celebrations. Background music, while guests are arriving or dining - music for dancing - and songs with special significance for the bridal couple. At most weddings there are guests of all ages, with different tastes in music. Ruby is often asked to sing a very special song, dear to the bride or groom. Sometimes she could do that in the chapel - during the signing of the register - unaccompanied. This can add a very personal touch to the ceremony. |
 The
music at your wedding will be everything you'd hoped for with Ruby and the
band. Our experienced team have weddings down to a fine art. We use a
perfect sound system for excellent sound clarity - and stage lights. A
soundtech is on hand throughout, to make sure every detail is perfect:
for example, that the sound and volume are just right at every stage. He will liaise with the MC (when the speeches are due), the venue (you'll never find the sound gear being set up while the guests start arriving), and the caterers (who sometimes need a few more minutes of music, if a course is delayed), as well as providing appropriate music while the band is having a break. A roaming microphone is available for speeches. After you've agreed on the date, the size of the band, the time you want the band to play, and the fee, we discuss all your requirements, and plan every detail of your celebration together, including any special songs, the bridal waltz, etc. |
